James Blake

Head of Global Cyber Resiliency Strategy

He is an Information Security leader with a proven track record of designing and executing large-scale information security transformation projects for dozens of the world’s leading organizations. His extensive operational experience includes business-as-usual, transformation, and crisis management activities related to information security and data protection.

His ability to navigate cultural and political environments within organizations enables him to deliver the appropriate level of information risk management while demonstrating business value to executive and non-executive stakeholders. With a background as a software engineer, IT operations director, and chief operating officer, coupled with strong business acumen, he ensures that the needs, constraints, and goals of the business, IT operations, and developer stakeholders are all considered to build a collaborative approach.

His experience spans from fast-moving green-field startup organizations through highly-regulated environments with significant technical debt and compliance constraints to Federal Agencies. He has led multi-year, multi-million-dollar security transformation programs in all vertical markets and geographies.

Over the next 100 minutes your fictional company will undergo a cyber attack and your new leadership team will work through the demands of the hackers under the pseudo timeline of the ransomware payment response window.
